Eight Superior rooms offer a peaceful showcase of Nishizawa’s architectural mastery, each deeply unique in layout and crafted form, either with Western-style beds or futons. Some span 30 square meters, with spacious light-flooded interiors and forest views; others are 40 square meters (25 square meters inside, plus 15 square meters of terrace), overlooking both forest and internal Japanese courtyard gardens. One room is designed as a Japanese space, with tatami floor and futons. Another special Western-style room on the second level, which spans 22.4 square meters inside, is designed with striking high ceilings that beautifully capture the shifting light, with unique views of both the forest and Japanese courtyard gardens. All rooms are wrapped entirely in hinoki wood. Ideal for a couple or friends. Rooms are varied and subject to availability.

Two spacious and serene Tatami Suites offer a deluxe Japanese experience, with crafted tatami mat flooring and exquisite antique Japanese furniture curated by Nishizawa to complement the architecture. The suites span 40 square meters inside, alongside an additional 14 square meter terrace, with soothing views across forests and internal Japanese courtyard gardens. Ideal for a couple, families and friends. Both suites are wrapped entirely in hinoki wood and have private hinoki bathtubs.

The most exclusive space in Shishi-Iwa House is the Cabin Villa. Spanning an entire two-level pavilion, it has a living room and outdoor terrace on the lower level, with an internal staircase flowing up to a bedroom and bathroom on the second level (48 square meters total inside plus external terrace). Walls of windows create the sensation of floating in a forest, with scenic tree views and glimpses of Mount Asama. The entire interior is wrapped seamlessly in hinoki, reflecting the ultimate mastery of Japanese craftsmanship. It is an intimate and luxurious space, perfect for special celebrations.
