Floating among the treetops, these upper level rooms have walls of glass and a private terrace with views of forests or Mount Asama plus queen-size beds. Rooms are either 30 square meters in size, with a shower and bathtub – or 20 square meters, with a special handcrafted hinoki cypress wood bathtub.

Perfect for small groups and families, SSH No.01 rooms are grouped into three Villas, which can be booked entirely for self-contained stays. In each Villa, three or four rooms on two levels share a simple kitchen, an art-filled living space and a private garden entrance – plus an interior door opening directly into the Grand Room.
